Zome Geometry
Construct Models to Build Skills Zome Geometry challenges and guides students as they construct a variety of models with Zome System components. When students discover relationships in something they have built themselves, they understand and remember the concepts. Using more than 60 easy-to-follow activities and 150 explorations, students build their spatial, conceptual, visualization, and geometric skills. Using the carefully sequenced lessons, students:- Explore a wide variety of geometry topics, including proportion, symmetry, area, volume, and coordinates
- Learn to prove that there are only five Platonic solids and analyze the 13 Archimedean solids
- Discover Eulers theorem and verify Descartes theorem of angular deficit

Hart, a mathematician and artist, and Henri Picciotto, an innovative teacher, the activities are based on a deep understanding of polyhedra and practical classroom experience.
